What did they tell the players at the end of the session? Anything? In our experience so far, the coaches have told the kids "no news means some back for the next one" or "only come back if you hear from us".

The first ID session was a bit chaotic due to the cold and poor lighting, and the players didn't get assigned numbers. Hopefully, the session on 3/1 is better
My guess is that VDA already has a completed team; they are looking to fill 1 or 2 spots.

Correct. Academy offers are out. Only new ones will be if someone turns an offer down.
