Political Discussion
Do the Christians realize it? |
Part of it, I wonder, is if she was just new to being a public figure and wasn't really sure how the whole "Being married to the VP of the USA" thing worked. Like she didn't realize how photographed she would be so she thought it was fine to go to the Pope's inaugural mass in no makeup. I am not sure that she realized, oh, I'm going to meet the Pope and there's going to be an HD video of me talking to him completely barefaced. She looked ill. No makeup is fine in real life but not on camera. But yeah, it is suspicious she has started wearing 4" heels and pencil skirts a month after her husband started getting closer to Erika Kirk. |
DP. It basically shows her arrogance. She just thought she would step into the role without thinking through what other people in the position do. Classic nerd with no ability to look beyond their own credentials. “Oh I’m a former scotus clerk and Yale grad of course I’ll be the best at this”. And now she’s going to get her husband snatched by someone who probably sleeps in a full face of makeup. |
|
I know I sound like NY Times Pitchbot when I say this, but this is essentially what my 15 year old said when I brought this up the other day. "This is a distraction Mom. Keep your eye on the ball." |
I do think that is part of it. I don't buy the "sweet little Usha" narrative they push where she never wanted this and she's not MAGA but she just had to support her husband. No one should buy that. C'mon. She's smarter than JD. She Lady Macbethed the shit out of him. So, yes, I do think when she would go abroad earlier in her tenure as Second Lady wearing no makeup, pants/dresses that were dragging on the floor (bc she hadn't bothered to get them hemmed), and with hair that looked like she barely ran a comb through it, she was thinking something along the lines of "I don't NEED to focus on hair and makeup like other women." |
So? Is part of India's national identity as a beacon of liberty and a melting pot that welcomes people from around the world? I'm not particularly interested in the opinions of another nationalist state like India. |
Here we have Usha four-ish months ago:
No makeup, poorly fitting dress, hair pulled back in what appears to just be a messy bun. She looks fine. Here we have her a month after Charlie Kirk's death:
Good makeup, she did something with the frizzy hair, pencil skirt, stilettos. She looks good. What's the reason for stepping it up? Hmm... |
JD was a senator long before becoming VP so the concept of public life wasn’t new to Usha. Her radar is definitely up. |
C’mon, Erika is very pretty. She may have an ugly soul, yet to be determined. Usha is attractive. She’ll always just be attractive. Her kids aren’t adjusting well to public appearances. The older boy especially exhibits some coping mechanisms. Usha is a mom first. Nothing is normal, especially her husband. |
There's a difference between being married to the junior senator from Ohio and being married to the Vice President of the United States. I can't name many senator's spouses unless they're famous in their own right. How often are you seeing pics of, say, James Lankford's wife? I couldn't pick her out of a lineup. But I do agree with you. Her radar is up. |
Except she's not. Her mom had to take a sabbatical to watch the kids because JD and Usha refused to cut back at work. JD laughed about this being "the best part of marrying an Indian girl." So respectful. |
Erika I would argue has a better body than Usha. She is more athletic and toned. She also has pretty features. Usha has pretty features as well. They both need new stylists. |
Um, can we stop comparing their bodies?! There is plenty of substance--or pack thereof--about them to discuss. |
Be honest. “substance” is not when men care about most when selecting wives or affair partners. They care about sexual attraction. |

“Usha, Usha….what is happening?!?! She’s gonna treat your brown babies like her ‘brown step-children’”
