Splitting the ticket isn’t a thing. If Miyares wins AG, he will toe the Trump line and surrender our elections and economy and citizens safety to ICE thugs when directed by Trump. The AG doesn't follow Governor orders unless he wants to.

I have no confidence to in the GOP. Over the years I’ve lost confidence in the Democrats. I’m a cradle Democrat, but I’ve lost respect for the party and confidence in it. I’m tired of the one hair out of place and we’re kicking to the curb anyone who only agrees with 90-99% what whatever self-identifying Dem believes.

The Dems do not deserve my votes although they may get some. The message from them is clear. They care nothing about people only votes and cannot handle a diversity of opinions. They are no better than their major opposition. So, abstaining or splitting my ticket makes complete sense. I’m not going stay with a party that bullies me or others who may habit agree 100% on everything. If losing my vote leads to their loss, they too bad. They had their chance to listen, to welcome, etc. They exiled us. Live with it.

The good news for the Dems is that they will likely win in 2026 and 2028 because Trump is doing himself and MAGA in.

Except it’s a whole new ballgame now. Trump and Project 2025 have changed the game dramatically. The country barely survived Trump’s first term and look what he’s done in his second term in only 8 months. Youngkin, Miyares and Winsome have seen what has happened this year and knew they needed to bide their time because of the VA elections this year - if the GOP wins in VA next month, they will follow the Project 2025 playbook and destroy VA because they know they will have time before the next statewide elections.
