Israel strikes Iran despite Trump's nuclear deal hopes

Does Iran want to nuke Palestinians and Hezbollah too? You do know that region is the size of a shoebox. Everyone’s on top of one another so Israel is lying when they claim fear over a nuclear attack. This is about military dominance and making sure Palestinians do not have a nuclear friend. Turkey could’ve gotten a nuke years ago but stopped after they realized how dangerous Israel is provoking war
Iran's leader Rafsanjani has said a nuclear strike would wipe out Israel while a counterattack by Israel on Iran would only affect a small part of the Islamic world.

hopefully he is dead now

Glad we're adding more on to that trillions of dollars we've spent fighting and supporting direct and proxy wars on behalf of Israel. Zionist and military industrial complex are celebrating as we speak.

Israel and Netanyahu successfully get there 7th or that they've been so desperately asking for since the 1996.

Bribing Rafael Mariano Gross over at the international atomic Energy agency was the perfect investment b Israel into fooling the masses about Iran's nuclear program

We have seen this movie before, back in 2003. We need to be wiser now, and not be misled into supporting another disastrous war in the Middle East.

Great article debunking all the pro war arguments. There’s no Evidence from the Us intelligence community that Iran even has ONE nuclear weapon

https://www.currentaffairs.org/news/beware-propaganda-for-war-with-iran

The U.S. intelligence community has long assessed that Iran “isn’t currently working to build a nuclear device” and has no evidence that the country’s supreme leader is “considering resuming his country’s nuclear-weapons program, which U.S. intelligence says was largely suspended in 2003.” A spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said in August that “Iran doesn’t have an active military nuclear program.” After a CBS host at the recent Vice Presidential debate warned that Iran could build a nuclear weapon in “one or two weeks,” the New York Times clarified that this was false. Iran itself has said it would only consider trying to build a nuclear weapon if its existence was threatened. As leading Iran expert John Ghazvinian notes, Iran’s leaders have long “concluded that they have more to gain from ‘playing by the rules’ of the international nonproliferation order than they do from racing for the bomb,” and there are obstacles “ranging from religious reservations about the morality of nuclear weapons to Iran’s membership in the global Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).” Ghazvinian says that this may be changing, but it’s in part changing because Iran is constantly being threatened with attack by Israel and the United States.

AMEN. The whole region is hell bent on destroying each other regardless of the cost to themselves or others. Not our circus.

I'd be fine with this, but we're involved - Israel would not be able to exist without American taxpayer money.

We need to take down AIPAC, and politicians who are bankrolled by AIPAC.

If this turns into tit-for-tat exchanges, at some point, Israel will go after the oil infrastructure of Iran.

The nukes are really just abstract (unless used), but oil really is the way Iran floats itself financially, and it’s totally exposed. I would take out 10% immediately, just as a shot across the bow. Saudi and US could easily replace Iran’s output.

People who are smart enough to realize the issue is not Iran's nuclear program. It is obviously Iran support for the Palestinians.

Netanyahu even said so himself in his book that he wrote in 1996 in which he listed Iran as one of the nations that must be toppled.

They want Iran to become a nation like Jordan, Turkey, or Egypt which has full diplomatic relations with Isreal and does not support the Palestinian cause.

Netanyahu’s easy to fool. Let’s count the list: Trump, Putin, Xi (remember Bibi was selling American weapons and technology to China to spite Obama?) Hamas, and now we can Saudis to the list. The Saudis are not on Israel’s side. They’re on Iran’s side. This is a huge problem because oil prices control the global economy.

Netanyahu is once again playing the U.S like a fiddle.

The US did not want to support Israel's attack, but they went ahead with it anyway. Now Iran will respond and overwhelm Israel's defense and then the US has no choice but to come in defense.
