^ game tape

D1 coaches told my kid to send games at the academy/mlsnext level.

A few mlsnext players playing against sh@t high school teams does not tell them anything.

The WCAC might be the exception.

Some Eagles get recruited to D1 and then NWSL.

It’s dead season. The college coaches are in season all Fall bust with their teams. They aren’t attending WCAC or fall HS soccer games. OMG.

They care if they know there are mls next or ecnl players. Having a higschool team ranked nationally also is gonna bring interest.

Gonzaga is number 1 in the area right? For sure D1 scouts are there.

So what you're saying is that recruiters only care about MLSN or ECNL.

You even said it yourself. So stubborn and dumb.

D1 cares about MLS N and ECNL club players and they will go to ATTEND a high school game featuring those players and watch them.

Ha! FFS no they won’t. They don’t even want game take from non-Mlsnext/Ecnl level games. They can’t judge a kid playing sh@t competition. They do not come to those games. Lmaof

We were advised to only include clips from club games in the recruiting video.

Yes. That’s what I said my kid was told. They also were told they wanted to see opponents that were MLSNext/ecnl not some rando 3rd rate team that played.

High soccer on the girls' side more about the parents ego or for the girls?

Can we catch up to the rest of the world if we continue to focus on high school and college?

For those that play high school soccer and club- do most HS coaches let the travel/club kids skip the HS practices? Or how do kids pull off doing both and school?

Most HS coaches arr morons. Because of this they'll expect players to make all practices or be benched.

+10000

Then also take credit for being a good coach when it’s all about their club players

No one cares about what video clips to send

Only the trolls who lost the ridiculous high school is rec level argument and are now desperately shifting in order to save face

Our HS coach did not have any rhyme or reason why he started people or not other than if you were a senior. Watching a HS soccer season is like watching rec soccer.

Jeez! It's been this way forever. It was never the pinnacle of soccer!

Meh. Waste of time if you want to play soccer after graduating high school.

A tiny percent of kids who play soccer in HS will play on a college team and/or professionally. If this is how most kids are making this decision, they are deluded.
