I didn't change my name.
We have two kids one has his last name and one has mine. So far no problems. Kids are a few years into school and we regularly travel internationally. |
Sure it’s an incremental change and not some “righteous feminist act,” but I still think there’s value in normalizing married, committed couples that do not share the same last name. |
Yeah it was totally the name change that made the difference |
Women of not taken husbands name should take their Moms maiden name |
What’s the value, exactly? At the end of the day, names are arbitrary. Just a tool we use to distinguish one person from another. |
What ball less wonder takes his wife’s name? God, progressives suck. |
WTF does your travel have anything to do with what names you gave your kids? Plus, everyone is chuckling behind your back. |
So then it shouldn't matter of the name isn't changed or if the man takes the wife's surname |
Because posters keep bringing up how much of a hassle international travel is with different last names, it's not. I don't think they are laughing, but if they are who gives a shit. Surely you don't live your life and make your decisions based on who may laugh at you like you're in middle school/ |
And this is what you ladies who change your names are supporting. |
