It's cute.

Different things appeal to different voters, people. You pick and choose, just like with every other aspect of your chosen candidates.

I showed it to my genz teen and they said she sounded stupid

It’s a cultural reference. Her mother is from India and apparently it’s a common phrase over there. [/quote
That brat dance is also old news according to my genz it was popular last week.

Brat is a TikTok trend based on some white woman artist named Charli XCX. A brat is a party girl .

Why Kamala is adopting this is anybody’s guess but it’s only been one day already and she’s already making mistakes.

It’s incredible

What a strange construction. Not sure exactly what you're trying to imply, beyond derision.

It’s not derision at all. PP said Brat was a slur for WOC and I just noted that the origin of the brat summer is a white woman artist so the PP doesn’t mistake
Brat as some sort of right wing slur to WOC . It’s not. It’s just a TikTok thing going on this summer due to Charli

Why is Michelle Obama being brought up. I don't understand at all? She didn't want Barak to run at first. She has never made any actions towards wanting any sort of career in politics.

Why is she being brought up?

Is this a Maga bot or a Russian bot thing?

Young kids are smart and know pandering when they see it. What is Kamala offering to make their lives more affordable? Boomers and Gen Z ruined the future for these kids

Barack and Michelle haven’t endorsed her yet. Why else would they not? Literally everyone else has

Nope. But I can’t imagine Rice appealing to younger voters.

We definitely have some work to do, but helping her get over the finish line will absolutely be worth it.

I’m calling it now, her inauguration is going to be EPIC

How old are you?

In my 30s

Hopefully early 30s if you are excited about the brat campaign. Otherwise it’s sad.

Nope! You’re wrong. I don’t really understand the best reference, I don’t think that was really for me anyway, BUT I love that she is connecting with such a diverse group of votes!

So relatable which is such a breath of fresh air.

Michelle won’t say anything until Barack does, and my guess is that Barack won’t say anything until Harris is the official nominee. Nothing new or surprising.

She's highlighting that she's young and hip. She's not yet another octogenarian who panders to rich white men.

Neither Trump nor Biden was good for the country. And most polls showed that the majority felt that both men were far too old to be running for office. So, now we have a candidate who is not too old. We are lucky that so many of the seniors who really have outlasted their best days are finally retiring. Glad to see that so many of the 70+ year old Congressmen and Senators are taking theri well-deserved retirement. We need to get younger people into the federal elected offices.

Think about it. Biden was mentally better than Trump was in 2024. But the office took it's toll as it does to every Commander-in-Chief. Every POTUS ages 10-20 years in one 4 year term, depending on the number of crises and problems that arise during the term. Trump is already half senile. Biden only lasted 3 years before it became too much. Trump will be lucky to last 2 years before he is incapable of truly acting as POTUS. We cannot afford to elect a person that is already sliding mentally before the election even happens.

If Trump were to bow out, we could have a real election, but the narcissistic orange man will not do that and so we will pick Harris as the lesser of two evils. Harris will at least be mentally cognizant when the next term ends.

Hold your horses folks because he will push MO in at the final hour with HRC as the VP.

I mean, it's all been explained:

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/21/us/politics/why-obama-hasnt-endorsed-harris.html

Republicans interpreted that as a snub. But people close to Mr. Obama, who has positioned himself as an impartial elder statesman above intraparty machinations, said not to read too much into it — and had no alternate candidate in mind when he made the decision not to immediately endorse Ms. Harris.

Mr. Obama adopted an identical stance four years ago when Mr. Biden’s aides pressured him to endorse early in the Democratic primaries before Senator Bernie Sanders dropped out. (Mr. Obama’s favored phrase back then was “I don’t want to thumb the scale.”) Endorsing too early now would also be a political mistake — fueling criticism that Ms. Harris’s nomination, should it come, was a coronation rather than the best possible consensus under rushed circumstances, they said.

Instead, Mr. Obama sees his role as helping to quickly “unite the party once we have a nominee,” a person familiar with his thinking said.

Which some of us are obviously fine with — with one major exception.

Maybe you should check in with Diet Dr Pepper boy if your energy is flagging.

Fresh air?

Biden endorsing Kamala like this is like farting in someone's car just before getting out.
