I guess that part of her identity isn’t as marketable…

It’s happening Thursday. I was invited today. Those of you who are not part of the DC Indian community have no idea how involved she is in the community. We’ve met her several times at Indian events in the city. And she’s always been very articulate.

Thanks for sharing this!

How does one get in on this?

“You’re just like that girl who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things sometimes,” Charli XCX said of the term in a TikTok video. “Who feels like herself but maybe also has a breakdown. But kind of like parties through it, is very honest, very blunt. A little bit volatile. Like, does dumb things. But it’s brat. You’re brat. That’s brat.”

haha Kamala admits she does dumb things and parties and says dumb things, that’s brat.

Is it too late to get Joe back?

I’m not sure this party girl strategy is smart. I’d like Warren and AOC and Porter vibes.

+ 1

I really like Elizabeth Warren and I am sad I can’t vote for her for president. I don’t want to vote for a brat.

I voted for Warren in the 2020 primary and I was glad to get to. And now I’ll be glad to vote for Harris in the 2024 general, and since Warren gave Harris a rousing endorsement, you should be glad too instead of spinning off into right wing tones like you are.

I’m so sick of this. Dems were attacking me (haven’t voted GOP in 30 years) earlier in the year because I said Biden was too old and wouldn’t win. I’m the first pp and questioning if this strategy will work. In the past, we’ve had nerdy, straight-talking women show up with receipts, who garnered a lot of praise and votes. It’s not right wing to wonder if a “party girl” is a winning strategy since I for one don’t effing want Trump to win. This shut up and vote is really troubling, i.e. not a winning strategy since I’d like to bring folks over.

No, but it is right wing colluding to fling around labels like “party girl”. I’ll guess about why people might decide to do that — especially with a WOC who also faces criticism for her background as a prosecutor.
There are a lot of people who claim that they don’t want Trump to win. Funny that this doesn’t stop them from denigrating the woman who can make that happen.

I’m paying attention to the fundraising efforts.

Uh, no she was embracing this per people upthread to get the GenZ vite. We can’t keep rewriting the script. That’s what Trumpsters do, which is what we all criticize. Right?

Well played, dems.

Not the youngest voters. Still pissed about Gaza.

You can start one yourself. Be the change you wish upon the world.

Nope.

Don't be so stuck up. What is wrong with having some fun while stopping Trump? I have a PHD in physics and having fun is not beneath me.

Is it is a “strategy” or is it the kids doing what they do? You can still bring people over and say “you know kids today, I’m glad they’re identifying with our party, and Harris brings the substance too. Which issues are most important to you?” Harris isn’t twerking onstage (or whatever the children are doing these days; my children are not in the cool kids group).

Yes, I hope the youngest youths hear about Trump telling Netanyahu to finish the job.

Nope. She’s actually been out of step with Biden on Gaza. More vocal about the humanitarian crisis being unacceptable. And declined to preside over Congress when Bibi speaks.

Everyone is telling Netanyahu to finish the job; it is part of the screening process for major donors.

Like...you just ran the gaslighting campaign of all gaslighting campaigns regarding Joe's health and now you're at it again with Kamala's popularity? Give it a rest!
