Just because the buck stops with someone and they ultimately take accountability doesn’t mean that person was responsible or at fault. As has been acknowledged through this whole process it was going on prior to her being super.

Do I like that this guy was promoted,no. Do I think MCPS should have better process yes. Will this situation push that into affect, yes. Beyond that I haven’t seen conclusive evidence of McKnight knew or didn’t and did/didn’t do.

You don't find anything wrong with her promoting a guy who was sexually harassing teachers despite her knowledge of it? Even MCPS gave her the boot.

She should have had knowledge. Did she, though? Or did incompetent staff set her up to fail? Either fits the DCUM profile of MCPS.

The incompetent staff she hired and supervised? The buck stops with her.

Just because the buck stops with someone and they ultimately take accountability doesn’t mean that person was responsible or at fault. As has been acknowledged through this whole process it was going on prior to her being super.

Do I like that this guy was promoted,no. Do I think MCPS should have better process yes. Will this situation push that into affect, yes. Beyond that I haven’t seen conclusive evidence of McKnight knew or didn’t and did/didn’t do.

If you work in MCPS management you know there are no secrets, trust me, she knew about him long before she became the supe.
