Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
| Monifa McKnight will become a superintendent in residence, dean’s fellow at UMD. Wow just lost a ton of respect for University of MD. |

When asked what she learned during her time as superintendent, particularly in the aftermath of a law firm report that documented failures by senior management, she referred to the school system’s corrective action plan. “The plan to address what we learned was very strong, and my hope is that the system has continued to do that.”
In other words, she learned nothing? https://www.washingtonpost.com/education/2024/07/09/monifa-mcknight-university-maryland-montgomery-county-schools/ |
OMG. have we learned nothing from this disastrous DEI exercise? |
|
Oh BARF!!!
How much is this manufactured nothing-burger job "advising staff" at the College of Education going to cost taxpayers? |
| Was waiting for this to be public. I just can’t. Disappointed in UMD’s COE but that’s nothing new. |
| I can’t believe someone hired her. Ugh. Hope she doesn’t screw up that campus with her shenanigans. |
Seriously? There are CEO’s and folks that have brought the world to the brink of financial collapse who walked away with golden parachutes and to be hired on in other firms. Donald Trump is running for US President with 34 felony convictions and other trials awaiting. But yet you’re surprised that Monica McKnight has been hired. |
My apologies for thinking UMD had better standards. 🙄 |
| This is ridiculous! The whole country is corrupted! |
|
wtf
The only “winner” in this mess was McKnight. She is taking Maryland to the bank. I hope UMD reconsiders. |
It probably wasn't the COE's fault. The dean was probably ordered to manufacture a job for McKnight, because McKnight worked connections. |
Advising staff as the superintendent in residence isn't much of a job. She will probably teach a seminar course to graduate students and go to faculty meetings. She won't be in charge of much to screw up, but I will bet it pays well. |
| The Peter Principal strikes again! |
