This thread has gone off the rails. It’s all political theater, including here. Biden can prep all he wants, but the sad fact is most people don’t care about policy. They have their minds made up about what is and what isn’t.

Trump doesn’t have to prep because people voted for him in the last election when the GOP literally had no platform. The GOP is brilliant at sound bites and it works for them, so of course they’re going to continue with that strategy.

The problem is everyone loves a victim. Look at the vast majority of relationships threads on DCUM. Dems were so dumb to allow Jake and Dana moderate. Frankly, they’ve lost all credibility and them attacking Trump will not go over well with undecided voters. They’re nearly as unhinged as he is. It will also embolden Trump supporters. Dems should have made a better, more neutral choice.

I’m sorry it bothers you that your candidate talks like Adolph Hitler. I’d say that’s gotta be rough, but if Joe Biden started talking about “vermin” and “poisoning the blood of our country” I would quit being his supporter immediately.

What’s the GOP’s platform going to be this time, just “TRUMP” again? They have no policy, at least no policy that will help regular Americans. Project 2025 is meant to make America into a fully fascist country and entrench wealth inequality for good.

Therein lies the problem. I’ve never voted for a GOP candidate. Many Dems want better. I’ll vote for Biden, though it hardly counts in DC. I’ll hate doing a second time.

Trump is prepping. A few days ago he mentioned watching Biden's debate as VP against Paul Ryan as Romney's VP saying Biden destroyed Ryan and is a worthy debater. He wouldn't be talking about video of old debates if he weren't prepping heavily.
