How do you know it's only 2? Not 3, 7, or 9?

Do the spots get released as soon as someone withdraws their acceptance or do the academies release the slots in bulk in waves on a particular date ?

I think it is instant. Two years ago, a student went off the Academies waitlist the same evening as his classmate accepted a TJ offer.

Does anyone know the waitlist works based on the seats available in MS? Or county wide?
