IKR? my upper level dressage horse makes the BMW people seem cheap. He’s a Ferrari and easy for what he is, but not anyone can ride him. My horse is nearly worthless but her care and upkeep are the most expensive things I own lol.

I got lucky and imported one for $75K and then he sold for $350K. (Not the dressage rider). But my dad always said, it costs just as much to house a horse that costs $100 as one that costs $100K and that's always stuck with me.

Good point. I always had to lease. My dad I said “I can afford to buy the horse, I can’t afford to keep it.”

I’m a beginner-intermediate skier and bought used boots when I first started. I’m beginning to think that my boots don’t fit well/properly and is a big reason why I am having a hard time progressing. Where would one go to get custom fitted boots? Any place GOOD in the dmv?

I don’t really think anything mentioned is worth it. But it’s a strange concept. If you have $hit tons of money and more where that came from, isn’t everything “worth it” to you? That’s how I feel about some of the prior posts. My rich neighbor who has never worked a day in her life is always telling me what fancy crap is “so worth it.” Because the money costs her nothing.

I did pay for the highest trim in my non-luxury brand car to get ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, etc. Even still, I’m not sure it was worth it.

I do pay extra for my kids to do the competitive version of their respective activities. I think it’s a waste but they don’t so it’s worth it in that sense.

House cleaner!

Just starting having house cleaned again after not for a year - I can breath again and I can already feel my anxiety level decreasing!

Also, well-made, comfortable stylish shoes.

Cheap shoes that fall apart and are uncomfortable to wear are just not worth it if you have a choice.

not in dmv but custom foam fitted boots by hannes strolz are amazing. Expensive but fantastic. They have a heated boot bag too.

I don’t believe PP. I have family in France and they’ve brought over “feminine hygiene” products. It’s just fancy looking wipes with tons of added fragrance/perfumes. Really not healthy to put that crap “down there”
