Who sent this? Which school?

Wakefield

“ Update: Retake and Revision Policy
A student who scores below 80 percent must be afforded the opportunity to demonstrate proficiency through a retake or revision of a summative assessment after remediation. The teacher shall determine the type and timeframe of and implementation of the retake or revision. Only the higher score, up to 80 percent, on the summative assessment from the original or the retake or revision, will be used to calculate the student grade.
Teachers have the discretion to extend the retake opportunity to all students in their class. When the opportunity is available to all students, the student’s highest score from the original or the retake or revision will be used to calculate the grade. ”
