Did you gather in large groups for the holidays? A virus may be your post-holiday present

I understand this, although I would have done curbside rather than going into a store knowing I had COVID. But at least you masked. I remember being sick when I was young and in a new city and didn't have anyone to get food and medicine for me. I'm glad that mask-wearing when ill has become normalized, even if not everyone does it. I have a kid who works in a grocery store, and I am grateful for those who try to avoid spreading any illness when they know they are sick.

If you're checking into a hotel when sick, you're not staying home either. Do as I say, not as I do.

You guys are something else. Someone isolating in a room by themselves with open windows and a HEPA with minimal other human contact, rather than staying in a two room apartment with their whole family, has a lower chance of infecting more people, family or not. Meanwhile you're not masking or doing the slightest thing to prevent yourselves from getting infected but please do lecture this PP about responsibility that's rich.

You had to check in, ride the elevator, greet people, you were around other people. So selfish.

Are you really that dense? The PP stated they wore a KN95 Mask. They were not the welcoming committee at the hotel---they didn't have to "greet" anyone. They didn't check themselves in---the parent did. They walked into the hotel with a KN95 mask on and didn't remove it until they were in their room. They didn't talk to anyone. And if they were in an elevator with someone else, if the other person is not masking, then they are likely exposing themselves to plenty of others unmasked throughout the day who are contagious with something---so if that other person cared, they would mask in public. But the risk from a 2 min elevator ride is minimal and the Kid did their responsibility by masking.

Gross, they walked by all those people? I though sick people were supposed to stay home! Selfish!

GO away troll

They walked by all those people while wearing a high quality mask.

If you are in public spaces you must assume someone is sick (Covid, RSV, Flu, any other various viruses) so if you care about not getting sick, wear a mask. Fact is the person masking is not who you should be concerned about. Those masking are the ones who give a shit and care about protecting others.

And they'll call it "virtue signaling".
