Love is Blind Season 5

Are we not supposed to say blind these days? What the new language, vision impaired?

Stacy is an entitled brat but we know who she is. No surprises. Izzy is shady.

Is he? I think since the pods, he's very predictable. He cares about his appearance but not his credit. He's very immature and inexperienced. Which is not surprising at all.

I think she’s a director of operations at a Pilates studio. But yeah, she definitely had a leg up in life.

She was an account manager at some kind of cargo transport business. Now she’s a Pilates instructor and has her own business as a style and organizational consultant. So she won’t be funding her expensive lifestyle.

Stacy's lifestyle has clearly been bankrolled, at least in part, by daddy. I'm not saying there's anything necessarily wrong about that, but her expectations of Izzy are really unfair to him.

Agreed but he also does seem more like a guy fresh out of college than a 30 year old with good prospects. Total mismatch.

Taylor and Milton need to get together. Closer in age, both emotionally mature.

Marriage matches aren't about what's fair to the universe. Stacy needs to be married to a rich man. It's possible Izzy can get there-- he just needs the right line of work-- but I don't think Stacy will respect him if he can't provide the lifestyle she's used to.

I love Milton! He’s my favorite on the show.

Taylor would annoy Milton. He doesn’t seem to be into the false eyelashes, blond hair, fake nails type.

DP. He’s very shady about his finances. I don’t believe for a second he doesn’t have credit cards from one unpaid $3500 debt. He could still get a secured credit card. Seems more likely he declared bankruptcy. His job description is also really vague and sketchy.

Stacy doesn’t seem to understand a lot of basics of money though. She just seems to expect someone wealthy. I thought the expectation that someone without an ownership stake in your home will replace your HVAC system a little naive.

Read he is very right wing, unfortunately.

The mismatch isn't the lifestyle, it's the journey. Stacy has obviously had a lot handed to her. Izzy has not. It's not about whether Izzy can "get there" but a lack of understanding and appreciation on her part about the differences in upbringing and her entitlement. Stacy's competency of "working hard" is different from the general population.

I don’t get what she thinks she is bringing to the table. No college degree, unpleasant personality. Too old looking to just be a pretty face.
