And it’s done a number on you, I see. Wearing a magic force field around your face, when you never did this prior to 2020. However did you survive???? |
I think this poster masks up alone in the car. Or masks when riding a bike but doesn’t wear a helmet. So weird and unnecessary. At least this freakshow is limited to DCUM. I don’t see this crap IRL, thank god. |
Odds are the uninfected survive longer than the multiply infected. |
But I thought we all were gonna get it? Which is it? |
Then don't have kids. You have sick and annual leave.. use it for your sick kids. |
It's clearly very triggering for you. ![]() It's amazing how roiled some of you get by others simply wearing a mask. |
Target has curbside pick up. |
NP. The thing is, "we need to see faces and smiles" PP is trying to impose their own values on everyone around them. We are past the point where anyone is mandating masks, everyone can decide for themselves. But to nitpick, if you're SEEING their mask, they are obviously not in a "bunker". Because you see them. Get a life and stop being so concerned about what other people are doing. To the original OP, your friends who are posting are being dramatic and attention-seeking. You are also being dramatic and attention-seeking. It's not that hard to find middle ground with people if you care about seeing them. If socializing outside or wearing a mask is such a great inconvenience that it outweighs your relationship, there's your answer. If they want to see you in your space where you are unmasked, they can wear an N95/KN95, that's their compromise. If all this moaning about sEeInG fAcEs is about strangers, go to therapy and stop being so concerned about what other people are doing. |
What makes you think those are mutually exclusive? We’re all going to be exposed many, many times. |
|
I still occasionally see my neighbor mask in her car. At least she’s not still wearing a face shield while driving…. It’s weird, though, since other than that the rest of the family seems to be acting normal. Their kids socialize with everyone else in the neighborhood, go to school, etc. |
And if you are protected with an N95 while exposed, your odds are much lower. Of course if the infected person was masked, we'd be in much greater shape, but we get to play dodgeball with SARS COV2 daily now. Fun. |
And even the best dodgeball players still get hit eventually. |
Some people are vultures who have made watching and waiting for people to get CoVID and suffer and hopefully develop long CoVID their entire personality. If we won’t all stay in our houses forever like they want us to then they’re going to wish CoVID on us in the form of “warning” us about it so they can say they told you so when someone gets sick. It’s pathological at this point. That virus has been here for 3 years. Learn to cope. |
It sounds like you are the one who needs to learn to cope. |
