NP. It does not, that was once the thinking when it first became on the market. It is not marketing that way any longer and FDA has adjusted the literature in that matter. It works only to prevent fertilization, it is not effective once that occurs. |
Correct, this is a change that happened years ago when I worked in ob/gyn. |
Thank you, people don’t understand how it works and are assuming. |
while I understand this, I also have a hard time believing that big businesses will remain when they can't recruit young women to work for them |
Let me check with Elon Musk… Yep, he says he has lights and his Tesla headquarters are up and running. And for good measure, I checked with few of my friends there also they also have electricity, running water, and all of life’s conveniences. Sorry you are disappointed they aren’t living poorly. |
If you think enough women will move out, think again. Texas has plenty of women. And not all have an issue with the state which would make another leave. And the state is very, very appealing to business. It’s not number 1 for no reason. |
| If you don’t think some states will be banning Plan B or criminalizing women’s reproductive health choices, you *really* aren’t paying attention!! |
Immediately? No. But let's start seeing how they feel when women are hunted down and jailed. When women slowly die of sepsis because they are carrying a dead baby and every doctor is afraid to treat them. This WILL happen. Look at Ireland. Heck, look at any country that had illegal abortion. |
Electricity has been kind of spotty. And Musk is a nut. |
| No, it’s not a factor. OP needs to focus less on politics and more on getting her daughter a solid education and learn to write so she doesn’t mangle affect and effect like her mother does. |
| Your child's their own person and an adult they can make the decision. Lol idiots |
well, they aren't paying their own bills at that point. Parents still get a say for that reason alone. |
So you don’t give your child any advice and aren’t involved whatsoever in the college application process? |
| DD went to Rice (in Texas) and had a wonderful time. Sadly, I would encourage her to look elsewhere if she was applying to college now. |
It depends a lot on your metrics whether it's number 1. And the impact of the ideologues has not yet been felt. Businesses moved in thinking it was more libertarian. But this financially de-regulated but socially restrictive is not a good combo for the highly educated workers they need. We'll see. |
