I'm cautiously optimistic that we've finally entered the new normal. People get sick and then just deal with it like they always have. Unfortunately, I think it took Ukraine to distract the media away from this storyline. |
DP. I also have Hashimotos, and my endocrinologist says I am not high risk. I’m asthmatic, though, so I check the high risk box there…supposedly. Depends on which doctor I talk to! |
I am the PP whose dad has cancer and the “shut everything down” mantra caused significantly greater harm to my dad’s health, and many of those in the cancer group I mentioned, than COVID. People with serious illness during COVID were screwed on the healthcare front. And it wasn’t due to hospitals being overwhelmed- it was due to other restrictions that limits testing, diagnosis, and proper treatment and care. I think we are going to look back years from now and see we killed an awful lot of people due to these restrictions. I know at least two people who passed from cancer due to delayed diagnosis and treatment during COVID. |
Nope, exposure is 10 days in masks and no days at home if you do not have symptoms. COVID itself is 5 days at home and 5 days in masks (if your symptoms are resolving by day 5 and you are fever free for 24 hours). |
| Work at a local private. We’ve been slammed the last week. Mcps better buckle up |
Yawn |
Thanks for your riveting contribution. Keep sticking that head in the sand and chanting “LA LA LA I CAN’T HEEEEAR YOOOOOOU.” Fool. |
I have two different neurologists and both say very different things in terms of treatment plan.... |
Snore |
Bore off. Nobody’s buying into your hysteria anymore. |
Be real, of course there will be a surge for a few weeks. |
