Get the hell out of here. There were so many posts just on this site touting him as a moderate. All your gang does is lie. |
Not sure, but there must be some reason the state of Texas is running ads on NPR (national public radio) talking about what a great innovative and entrepreneurial climate they have in their state. I heard the ad several times today (and I don't think many conservatives listen to NPR, but I could be wrong). |
It could also be that businesses want to flee California and Texas is saying welcome. California still allows abortion, so why do businesses want to leave? |
+1 There had to be someone better than him. I thought I was in a time machine. |
So you voted for Youngkin and Herring? |
+1000 gun and corporate speech are next. |
Virginia who? You don't speak for me. |
+1 It's nuts. |
Your children will be free to abort as much as they like as long as it is before 20 weeks. You are not having less rights. Even Roe v Wade set up some standards for viability and states deciding later term abortions. RvW: "From the beginning of the third trimester on—the point at which a fetus became viable under the medical technology available in the early 1970s—the Court ruled that a state's interest in protecting prenatal life became so compelling that it could legally prohibit all abortions except where necessary to protect the mother's life or health." |

20 weeks is not the 3rd trimester

But that's the point. Everyone has different opinions on abortion. But it really should be a personal decision. That way, you don't stomp on my rights, and I don't stomp on yours. If you don't agree with abortion, that's your right. You don't have to have one. If I agree with abortion, then that's my right too. I can have one if I need one, or I might choose not to have one. It is really none of your business what goes on inside my uterus. |
Don't be pedantic. |
You know what else Europe has? That's right - universal healthcare. So you can actually obtain birth control, prenatal care, maternity care, and even abortion through the national health care system. And I think all of you folks will be singing a much different tune when the GOP starts coming for your birth control. Because that's next. If there's no Roe, there's also no Griswold. |
