| There is no off street parking. |
| They’re finna tear down the water feature, and pave the alley for the spots. Neighbors be maaaad salty but the developer dgaf |
| The one thing the pp is right about is that the developer does not give a #$&@! about destroying a neighborhood and it’s open green space for his own benefit - especially because he doesn’t live here. |
| The sad reality is the majority of residents in Barnaby Woods and Chevy Chase, DC all park on the street because it is convenient and there is ample street parking. The new owners of this property are not going to drive down a long alley, park their car in their backyard, walk up the grassy hill, and two flights of stairs (one outdoor, one indoor) to the kitchen/main floor. 99% of the time that will not happen. The owner will pull up in front and park at the curb in front of the house, like everyone else. |
| In other words, destroying open space and views for no reason. |
| Pending. |
I guess the “legal” issue that people keep repeating on here is overdramatized. I’m calling it right now — they get 3.1. We’ll see whether I’m right or wrong but that’s what I think. |
| Hopefully the developer didn’t tell the buyers they could get parking with an extension of the alley. |
The alley is getting extended. Developers win at the expense of neighbors once again. |
You guys should try to process your emotions about this so you can be nice to the new neighbors. They’re probably excited about their new house and unaware that you all hate it. |
What do you think the new neighbor paid, assuming deal gets closed? |
| It's now pending! |
This is the developer… er I mean the neighbor checking back in to say shouts out to all my haters that doubted that this house would get close to the asking price. Cash money baby, straight moolah. All you haters talking trash wish your house was as big and awesome as the Big Beautiful Barnaby Abode. Deuces ✌️ 💰💰💰 |
Wrong. Just a DCUM’er who has been following this thread. Not a neighborhood; live in Brightwood. |
| House was under contract/pending, now listed as off market again. Seriously? What is going on? |
