Imagine, for a moment, how the media would handle THAT story. Now, consider how they are handling THIS story.

Precisely this. Not to mention the posters who have their noses out of joint because their stupid candidate did something stupid. All they can do is splutter and invoke Trump - as usual. I'm so embarrassed for anyone who supports McAuliffe.

We’re all cringing with secondhand embarrassment for Youngkin voters, so it all works out.

I never want to hear another complaint about Project Veritas. The left has its own version.

Ms. Windsor, 40, calls herself an “advocacy journalist,” though her methods fall beyond the pale of mainstream journalism, where reporters generally shy away from assuming false identities and secretly recording conversations.

It's all BS and is done in a way that doesn't give time for voters to learn the truth.

We’re talking about the 2021 VA gov election here. Keep up.

Lincoln Project are republicans. Pulling the same crap against Democrats each cycle, including 2021. Keep up.

They helped elect Biden. You’re angry. I get it.

Ironically they will also help elect Youngkin

With this little stunt? No, hardly anyone has noticed this, and the ones who have, they have already made up their minds, one way or the other.

DP. That's some serious denial! My family across the country called tonight and were laughing about the McAuliffe stunt. It's definitely being talked about.

A family member from PA texted earlier to commiserate that the crazies are attacking their school board.

The world has gone mad.

Cite to the incident, please.

Mainline. Rs are attacking PTO members over CRT, books, and crazy, unfounded lies. Honestly sounds worse than LoCo because Rs are viciously attacking individuals and even making threats.

Picture Eagles fans at school board meetings.

I have no idea what your last sentence means. Fans of a football team are attending these meetings?

It makes more sense if you follow US football. Let’s just say that some people up there can get *really* rowdy.

Anyway, I’m not sure if there is a “link” from this most recent drama but she did send this to me earlier this year. She’s said it’s gotten even worse because parents are attacking other parents now. It’s a purple area so more Rs than nova. Sounds even more divided.

Can you start your own thread? What does Pennsylvania (Valley Forge area or wherever) have anything to do with the Virginia election? Nothing. So please start your own thread and discuss it there.

You know this kind of rhetoric is terrible and offensive and only supports division. I am a lifelong Virginian and a GDI. I voted for McAufflife and then Northman and then Biden. I was outraged and disgusted in 2017 and again now. I gave a huge amount of money to the fundraiser for DeAndre Harris. I am disgusted that this group chose to do this in Charlottesville during the Kessler trial (it’s exactly why they probably did it), I bet NONE of them is from Charlottesville or lives in Charlottesville.

Those ARE democratic campaign workers, coordinating with the Lincoln Project, performing this stunt and then coordinating with democratic journalists to broadcast these pictures and claim their Youngkin supporters, many with full knowledge that this is fake and it’s a lie. Nothing about that is ok. Nothing. I don’t care what party you’re with or what you claim you’re trying to prove.

And I don’t believe I’m in the minority in my thinking in Virginia. This charade isn’t something the average Virginian will respond to positively. It’s crash, tasteless, hurtful, and a lie, all done in Charlottesville no less during the Kessler trial. And don’t forget how many Virginians are mad at McAullife for how he handled 2017 and what came out of the commission.

How can anyone justify this? Or make any claim that someone who is a republican by definition wasn’t outraged in 2017 and thus is a racist? Plus made by someone who doesn’t even live in Virginia. WTF? These kind of statements only push people like me who are on the fence to vote for Youngkin.
This is just beyond the pale. If you

Exactly. If you are thinking and analyzing, you will be judged, harassed, called names. I am also Biden voter, but I cannot do it for McAuliffe.

DP. So it has nothing to do with values and policy positions, you’re changing parties based on anonymous posts on DCUM? Okay.

You're absolutely right and its astonishing to me that the McAuliffe campaign, through 'affiliates', think they can just brush over the fact that this stunt was pulled by Democrat operatives in order to smear an opposing campaign team. Its dirty politics.

I don’t pay attention to any of this crap. I pay attention to the ridiculous policies that have been pushed by the Virginia parties over the years, and I’m not seeing the party of the vaginal probe becoming more statesmanlike or mature, but instead doubling down on guns, misogyny, and Trump. McAuliffe may be a Democratic Clintonist hack, but he’ll veto all the dumb crap out of Richmond. Virginia also got better run overall during his las administration.

I can’t believe any of you base your voting decisions on PR stunts and manufactured outrage. I find it particularly ironic all the people who are clutching their pearls over a campaign ad but at the same time supported and voted for Trump - the biggest corrupt sleazeball ever.

I believe not only in checks-and-balances but also honesty and Youngkin is far more honest than McAuliffe who will use all the 'Clintonist' attacks he perfected at the helm of both Clinton campaigns to worm his way out of accepting responsibility for anything -- including his own party operatives smearing an opponent.

Aside from that, you were perfectly happy to see 'dumb crap out of Richmond' become policy when all Virginia school boards were overridden and forced to hold in-person classes regardless of case rates.

So stop with the McAuliffe hypocrisy.

You’re a Youngkin supporter who wants to close down schools again? That’s not going to work out the way you think it will.
