This is soccer. You will always find players leaving and others coming or sometimes while teams getting rebuilt even in the pro world (Man Utd, Barca, even Man city-next year releasing a whole bunch).

Most importantly is if the coach is good, he will rebuild the team. If you look around, even other ECNL teams have 6-7 players leaving or getting cut. Surely, some top players may leave but there is enough talent in the area to refill their positions. Everything will be fine.
this is the way. Sucks when it happens but it comes with the decision made by NVA. Its all about MLSN anyways. The NVA GA teams will survive. Has to be a bittersweet moment for the coaches. Mixture of being proud and sad at the kids trajectories.

I think NVA GA teams still have enough quality to dominate GA. And if they make the champions cup then it the same outcome as ECNL playoffs. So everyone will be fine. Not sure why is everyone is pessimistic because NVA switched the GA. After all not too many ECNL teams in the area unless families are willing to go to Richmond and NC.
translation = we thought we had trapped players due to ECNL consolidation but forgot we trained these girls to be good enough players to walk off.

Yes NVA will be fine until they play Loudoun

You must be a hoot in the car driving home from games.

Fixed….
And the teams have frayed on the girls side.

Primary path to Champions Cup is for the Club to be successful top to bottom of the age groups, not just a few. Maybe those specific teams get in as a wildcard, but that's not a guarantee.

Sorry, that's not how they do it anymore.

How is it done now? Legit asking. Can’t find it on the website.

Can you say what years this is happening for? Mostly younger (2011-2013)? Or older girls (2010-2008)? And do you think there is something more at play than the fear that going from ECNL to GA will hinder recruitment prospects? Not seeing why would so many be leaving just b/c of switch.

The switch to GA is like panic selling in stock market 😂. But probably those who stay the course may get rewarded.

All of the age groups completely depleted with 1/2 girls going to other clubs for ECNL. Expect teams to merge together in one LS GA team. This club always blows up because they make horrible decisions. I’ve been here since the beginning and the other parents are so full of themselves.

Still based on previous year:

FOR ALL CLUBS: The Champions Cup Finals at IMG this year will include FOUR (4) non-Champions Cup teams at U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19. These four teams will be invited to attend the event by the GA following the Winter Showcase. Invitations will be based on:

Performance in last year’s playoffs (U14 performance last year applies to the U15 team this year).
Performance in regular season play through December 10.
Performance at Winter Showcase if applicable (attendance at Winter is NOT required).

Can someone explain thee allegations

Diego Simeone Son is at Atletico Madrid. So ATM is nepotism too?

Kids who are at the highest level at the NVA/Loudoun Club, meaning: ECNL, Captains, Junior BOD members, Starters, Brothers, Sisters, and family friends (some not so talented) have all been given the start of pathways to collages and national teams, they have been on the highest level teams since they were young children. These children of who are connected to the Board of Directors and Executives at the club for both DD and DS are given priority over all others... what would you call it? I call it nepotism and money. I would research before committing.
