If you want to see the quality of DCU or lack thereof...please watch this game. PSV, and this is not an exaggeration, had about 75 percent possession, and DCU couldn't put together more than 3-4 passes. And if they did it was in the back with no preasure. PSV saw that DCU had no way to really beat them after the first half and that they had more quality in every position and changed their strategy in the second half to high press them and give them no respect on the ball. This is what led to their first goal in the first 2 minutes of the second half. DCU couldn't possess the ball or connect consistently. Kicked the ball long more often than not and couldn't really play out the back. DCU put a clearly injured player back on the field as well. The difference between the two sides was obvious. One team playing football, the other just kicking and running and praying. DCU probably won't make it out of group play, just like last year. |
| 0-3 in group play, offense no where to be found. Why not change up personnel, obviously current lineup get a single goal. |
was match live stream? |
which adult is putting this much focus and energy into what other people's young kids are doing? |
If this bothers you, you should pull your kid out of competitive sports. Competitive anything really. |
Which adult is putting this much effort into commenting on the thoughts of those said adults???? If it matters so little to you, why do you comment at all? But clearly you're obsessed with trying to make DCU seem like a solid place to be since your kid is there. Keep trying. You will never succeed. And the academy you're defending gives absolutely no sh#s about you or your child and has no desire or will to work on developing him Let that sink in one last time. |
Typical for an academy that has no development philosophy or style of play other than kicking the ball long. Even if DCU won the games it wouldn't matter. The kids are in a system that can't develop them to their potential. Think about it this way...DCU ONLY cares about winning the games and they can barely do that with good talent. The international clubs don't really care about winning the games they just want different development environments. And they still beat DCU who only is trying to win. Low block, parking the bus, trying to not get embarrassed and still losing. Pathetic. |
Because DCU has absolutely no idea what they are doing. Like has been said over and over again on this thread. |
There's a whole industry that follows academy teams and its players. You sound ridiculous. |
PP seems to be addressing you and your addictive obsession to the academy and other people's children don't see them defending the academy |
Oh, then why didn't you say you're a professional MLS club academy pundit and analyst What media outlet do you represent? |
How much time have you and yours spent at top tier international academies recently? Your insider information could be helpful to us here |
Here she is! Verifiable facts lady. Welcome back. Feel free to ask inane questions and not add anything. We're here for you., |
What to add? There's one person on a completely biased rant because the dcu academy lives in their head rent free and they are completely obsessed with tarnishing everything and every one, children and parents, associated with the academy Dishing their toxic opinion and narratives to deal with their low self-esteem and insecurities about their own failures and shortcomings. Yes, we all agree that DC is the worst academy in America All their former players have gone on to play Rec while the other academies are selling players to top clubs across the globe by the dozens and making 100's of millions That should wrap things up. We're all in agreement |
