LOL! It’s only correcting that Trump didn’t write Project 2025. Which is true. I don’t believe he has written anything, much less a 900 page document.

The “rut roh” poster never tires of being proven wrong!

I personally did not know that he has medical issues. Social media is going to be rough for him.

I googled his name just now and most of what I’m seeing, including comments on videos, are super positive.

I’m sure there are so jerks who thinking picking on anyone different is cool, but most of what I’m seeing is people loving on the Gus.

That sounds like Trump.

Since this is a discussion, and I’ve been clapping all along, yesterday hit different.
•I now feel it might be going on too long. The momentum we felt was unexpected and we were surprised and elated, better to end on a high note and have us wanting more.
•I was a little let down by Walz’s speech - I have heard it before and hoped it would be different
•While it is joyful, they are overusing the word joy

I have neurodivergence in my family and saw a lot of positive social media about Gus and his wonderful, emotional reaction to his dad's big moment. I also appreciate that while Gus is neurodivergent plus has anxiety and a non-verbal learning disorder and ADHD, he's not hidden. he's openly enjoying himself and being unapologetically himself and loved and celebrated by his family.

I think a lot of families (like mine) can see their family members represented in Gus.

Well said.

What a beautiful family. Gus is pure joy and clearly loves and is loved by his family.

The main problem last night was Clinton went off script and for about 30 minutes too long. On the other hand, that was probably his last major public speech, so he milked it.

I thought Pete and Walz were fine/good.

With Biden, the Clintons and Pelosi, we are seeing a true transition to Harris, Pete, Jeffries etc. I agree that last night didn't have the same juju as the first two nights, but I expect tonight to end strong.

it was fine, his teleprompter broke. love that guy.

early voting is in a couple weeks. its fine.

trump seems like he doesnt feel like doing it anymore. esp combined w almost dying. the only thing to gain is leverage in court cases. i think everyone feels that kamala is inevitable.

Trump is desperate. He knows if he doesn't win, he goes to jail.

Kamala is not inevitable. The campaign and the public need to act like she is 2 points down in every jurisdiction.

Trump was not at the convention.

Agree with all of this. Very hard to follow the Obamas. Pete and Walz were solid, underwhelmed by Pelosi, Shapiro, Oprah, and especially Jeffries. Clinton was Clinton, too long but good overall. He's old and frail, not the speaker he once was of course. The musical performances didn't hit the same way either. John Legend can't pull off Prince, sorry.

But looking forward to tonight. Whitmer and Harris should energize the crowds, and Pink is performing!

Because her job was to support 46, not lead him. She advised.

Plus, she was busy solving the border crisis.

And she did such a good job…….

Anonymous wrote:JD Vance is just terrible. Jake Tapper just asked him to respond to Buttigieg's response to his childless people do not have a commitment to the future of this country. (Buttigieg said tonight that when he served in Afghanistan, he didn't have kids and neither did most of his fellow troops, but you better believe their commitment to their country was pretty d--- physical).

Vance botched the supply. He couldn't defend himself other than saying his remark was sarcastic and Buttigieg should be more offended by the job he has done as Transportation Secretary. Like what? Why can't Vance just be a human? Why does he have to keep that smug expression on while he refuses to apologize. Just say "I'm sorry. That comment was tongue in cheek and I hate that I offended so many people."

But he opens his mouth, puts on a smarmy expression and just makes everything worse.

He is a dolt. There is no there there. A ghostwritten book and being backdoored into Yale doesn’t make you smart. He’s a midwit political prostitute.

He seems to have no charisma and little if any emotional intelligence. I find Vance even less relatable than Trump — even though we probably have only 2 or 3 degrees of separation. He carried himself as though he thinks he’s the smartest person in the room — when it’s apparent to most that he’s not. He’s arrogant, mean spirited and offensive. I know several people who are considering getting cats thanks to his comments, so there’s that.

Vance is the worst! I have a very similar background to him (no Appalachia, just like him), and I think he is so blech. Like the guy you actively avoid at school. Something is not right with him.

Kinzinger should be good, too. I expect Healy and Cooper to be solid in content, dull in presentation.
