Trump has a way of telling the truth that you can’t get anywhere else so efficiently and well reported.

What’s the truth? That Lawrence looks like “shit”? Wow, that’s some hard hitting, insightful reporting there. Has Trump looked at himself in the mirror lately?

It’s true - every accusation he makes is actually a confession of what he has done / is like. It’s pure projection

The NY case is strictly a business fraud case, nothing more, 34 counts of it. It doesn’t matter if he had an affair, the election has no impact here, doesn’t even matter if he actually slept with the porn star. The only thing that matters is that he committed fraud and the prosecutor is trying to prove intent (that it wasn’t just a mistake).

You can’t payoff a pornstar and list it as a legal expense. Neither would a hooker or your cocaine (regardless of how energized it makes you to work) be a business expense.

Now what?

Now we see what Spanky got in return for the $130k he paid her.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to keep your sanity. This is going to turn out badly for you. Trust me.

If you’re implying that if Trump wins that means it turns out badly for me and the rest of the country, I totally agree.

Well, it'll turn out badly for you, but you and others are well deserving, after using our justice system for election interference and nothing more.

DP. Michael Cohen has already gone to prison for this. How do you fit that into your "election interference"?

Was Cohen found guilty by a jury or did he plead guilty?
He plead guilty....... and I have little doubt this was part of the deal he got from the fed prosecutors in order to implicate Trump.
You know... plead guilty to a "crime" that isn't really a crime and we'll give you less time.........

When you plead guilty to more crimes, you get more time, not less. This was Trumps DOJ that prosecuted him. If it wasn’t actually a crime, then why did Trump prosecute him?

It's all election interference by the State of NY. Pretty simple.

The election interference was in 2016 when Trump covered this up illegally. The concept of the cover up was not illegal. The way it was executed was. It is an open and shut case based on the evidence provided by the prosecution thus far.

He’s angry and embarrassed and thinks he’s special somehow. Apparently he was swearing and behaving in a threatening manner during her testimony.

Stay tuned for a giant rage tweet. Such a toddler.

Special? I'm still trying to figure out what law was broken? Everyone is (outside of your bubble).

Let’s keep it simple. He paid off a porn star and listed it as a legal expense through his company. This is business fraud. There are 34 counts, you can read them, they are clear.

Yes, let's keep it simple. Stormy denied the "affair" IN WRITING.

Again, this does not matter at all. If he paid her, for whatever reason (keep her quiet, embarrassment, public opinion etc.) and then listed it as a legal expense that is fraud. It was simply not a legal expense, that is fraud.

Paying a lawyer, NDA, is a legal expense. In addition, the NY law for this fraud is a misdemeanor.

Then why did Cohen already do jail time for this "misdemeanor?"

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/stormy-daniels-describes-her-alleged-affair-with-donald-trump-60-minutes-interview/

The idea that this is new information is simply a lie by the defense.

Trump denies he had an affair/sex/whatever with Stormy. This s not even important to the case but this shows Trump is lying destroying his credibility with the jurors.

Does not matter SCOTUS will have the last say and declare him innocent. They will some how claim jurisdiction over the case and over turn it. It’s not like anyone could do anything. They do not even have to have a relevant reason to take the case. They can just take it. No one can over rule them.

SCOTUS doesn't have review of a NY State proceeding.

State prosecuting a federal statute. Surely that is something the Supreme Court can review. There are many more 1/2 baked arguments(like the president has immunity, etc) that could kick this to the Supreme Court. All it takes is the willingness of the court to jump in. They have certainly demonstrated that will.

The state is prosecuting NY State law. If this were a federal proceeding, then it would by SDNY, but this is the AG office.

What is the extra crime being prosecuted? There is nothing mentioned in the indictment. Without the extra crime, the case is a misdemeanor. They are trying to prosecute federal law, as explained previously in this thread.
This case should be tossed because the indictment does not specify a felony crime.

NY has its own laws, it is outlined in the charging documents. You can google it.

Good for her. It way past time for Trump to receive all that he so richly deserves. He gets undressed and us posed on the bed in his boxers! He stands in her way and he is bigger and stronger. Rape is not a always violent but the threat is there.
