That was reported by TMZ last week. I think on the first day they went to court. It seems her continuing to remain with David is why the judge said she failed to protect her children. And she’s not doing herself any favors by releasing statements that David and her going to remain strong and committed.

The difference is Chelsea comes from a stable family structure herself -- dentist dad and stepmom seem solid; and her mom while she seems old fashioned and annoyed, still seems like a solid person. So while no, she wouldn't have listened to them if she found Adam Part II -- I think what she really longed for was a husband and family and the stability she had growing up. She wanted an insta-dad/family man so I think she steered clear of men like Adam, which is what led her to Cole, who seems like he was born to be a husband, father, provider.

True. No mental illness or addiction. Solid family structure. And didn't have a 2nd kid at like age 17 or 18. Dad pushed her thru cosmetology school; IDK if she finished or not but I think her family has very much thinking of -- how is she going to support herself/this kid if she stays with Adam (who they knew would promptly leave even if they married) or a husband/provider didn't show up. And yeah she was with Adam for SO LONG because I really think she naively thought for a long time that she could make them into the family she wanted. When that didn't happen with kid 1 and he was cheating etc, then in her 17-18 yr old mind, 2 kids would mean that they'd marry and live as a happy family. Thankfully for her Adam had NO interest in sticking around, which is what even led her to someone else. Or she eventually would've had a 2nd or 3rd kid with Adam who'd float in and out of her life, prison, whatever. As solid as her family is, it's not like she would've listened to them if Adam wanted more kids and made promises. She just knew she had the safety net of dad - emotionally and financially - which Janelle, Kail, Brianna, Catelynn, Amber, etc. don't have.

She doesn't really fit the profile of a girl who pines after boys who don't care about her. Those girls are usually fatherless girls who continue to date losers because they need a male figure in their lives.

Yep, those other girls have terrible support systems and role models.

I think Some of the girls seem like decent moms, but they're being terrible role models themselves by having kids with different dad's.

New 911 recording released, from December, of Jenelle claiming David is being violent. Interesting that she left Ensely in her room while this was going on. Glad the 911 operator pointed that out. I wonder how many other recordings are going to be released.

That is probably one of the actions the judge was referring to when he told Jenelle that she failed to protect her kids.
