The difference is Chelsea comes from a stable family structure herself -- dentist dad and stepmom seem solid; and her mom while she seems old fashioned and annoyed, still seems like a solid person. So while no, she wouldn't have listened to them if she found Adam Part II -- I think what she really longed for was a husband and family and the stability she had growing up. She wanted an insta-dad/family man so I think she steered clear of men like Adam, which is what led her to Cole, who seems like he was born to be a husband, father, provider.[/quote]
