| Why has Patriot dropped off so far from the previous years? Was the addition of GHS a big factor? |

I don't think they are so far off. They were ranked last week and just missed the top-10 this week. They had some good athletes in 21 and 22 and the Rutgers commit who transferred in from PVI propped them up a lot. I'm not sure how much Gainesville hurt them - Gainesville is not very good so it doesn't seem like they stole a ton of high level talent. Maybe they lost a kid to PVI that could have made a difference? It doesn't take much to tip the scales at the public school level. |

The opening of Gainesville has taken alot of kids from Patriot and Battlefield. Both BF and Patriot have solid coaches, and they get the most out of those kids. Gainesville will get there, and they have like 2X the number of kids on their JV Team as the other 2. Like 35 kids this year. |
