Will Whittle be around next year?

We’ve been through tough times, and this is an important time in your lives. You didn’t sign up for this. So, I can appreciate the desire for justice, or vengeance, or even just cathartic speculation. If this forum is able to provide what you need, then so be it.

Honestly, I’m impressed at the knowledge and writing skills you’ve displayed on this thread. Should we turn the page with new funding, there’s no doubt in my mind that you will be the shining stars at Whittle. And if not, you will go on to make proud any institution that supports you.

Why would you wish this on them? What has Whittle done to prove it is worthy of having such amazing kids? All the early promises are completely dead in the water - global school with a vibrant community of 90,000 kids worldwide, renzo piano designed campuses in every major city, centers of excellence at each campus, the best of the best faculty from around the world (no disrespect to the current educators but the initial group was amazingly pedigreed), none of the stresses of annual fundraisers (apparently weekly ones are less stressful?) for parents that apparently are the bane at elite privates... No need to even mention the toxicity of the man in the middle of it all.

So knowing all this, why would you wish a continuation beyond the end of this school year on them?

Wow. Report the post all you want, but the fact remains. RE: just because the educators got more diverse doesn’t make them any less pedigreed. Stop being racist!

Initial group of educators was equally diverse?

How is the Campus? Maybe one of these older schools can take advantage, and come in and purchase for an upgrade. Should be able to get a deal on the foreclosure.

I didn't report your post. If you noticed, they took down mine as well.

But here's the rub - you are clearly a small person whose ego got bruised because whether you like it or not, the initial cohort of teachers were truly among the best of the best. Oh and pretty diverse too. So call a spade a spade and admit that your precious little ego is hurt. To throw race into the mix is despicable. And if you are representative of the remaining faculty, then I take back the comment about meaning no disrespect.

How diverse will the workforce be next year after the ones this year leave for jobs that can make payroll on time?

Student here again -- the initial batch of teachers were really great. Nothing against the new ones.

Not the PP. I don't see how calling out how truly exceptional our founding faculty were is objectionable. They were amazing

New student on here. There are now new pics we have an option to be in. It’s absurd to be focusing on pictures when we don’t even know if we will be coming back after break. “ Good morning everyone and Happy Thursday! On Wednesday, March *, we will have a photographer come to Whittle to take photos of our spaces with our lovely students. If you are interested in participating, here are the following options:
(Not going to share the options for security reasons)
If you would like to participate, please respond back so I can generate a list to send reminders. Thank you in advance and have a great day!”

Just crazy!

I wonder if the photographer got a promise in writing that he/she is one of “the most critical suppliers”?

If a more stable school is able to purchase, baby they will give preference to the current students and absorb all or most.

It is crazy! Thanks for sharing. Chris probably needs some updated pictures showing happy smiling faces in his oasis of learning for the investor marketing materials
