Alexandria getting MLS Next full slate, SYC getting MLS Next full slate (and pathway to ECNL), Arlington ECNL isn't helping out. The Gunston merger failed. It's all going downhill.

Speaking of SYC, I thought they had to borrow the Gunston girls team in order to have a high school team? I have no dog in this btw, just pointing out other clubs are borrowing teams as well.

SYC 2003 team was Gunston 2003 team (fill-in). Their 2004 had one team, 2005 two teams (beat LMVSC), 2006 two teams

My DD was on her 01/02 team. Absolutely ruined a season for showcasing, proper training, etc. She’s not a soccer coach.

Anti-christ may be a little strong and certainly a lot of the stuff on here comes from someone who thinks the accusations make SYC look good. That said, she has driven out staff, coaches, and players through her actions. She shouldn't be in charge of the club. She's definitely not a good coach, but there's plenty of those around. She makes the soccer decisions for the club though, and that's where having someone who hasn't taken a coaching course in 15 years hurts. Then, she's done a poor job with retaining staff. This has always come down to money. Talk to any current or former employee, she's asked them to do work for free or not paid after making promises. If you want to keep players, you need to keep coaches and staff. The mass exodus to SYC could have been avoided if she had paid those coaches what they were worth. Multiple attempts to merge with other clubs have failed because of her reluctance to give up complete control. So again, maybe not the anti christ, but someone who has shown through her track record she should be anywhere near the game. Also, plenty of those out there as seen through the 100s of threads on here.

These coaches leave for top clubs like SYC. More money and they don’t have to deal with LB saying nasty things

We can archive this when LMVSC has another town hall, and then we can create a new board! But so many missing teams I don't know if they will be able to fill a town hall, nevermind CCL schedules.
