The Trump Women and their Fashion Mishaps - Part Three

Can we talk about Trump in here, or should I start a new thread?

His makeup is so bad that I had to share this photo with you.

The littlest boy is all of us lol, what a cutie.

I think Usha's dress is too casual.

She should have worn a Salvar Kaemez or Saree to meet Modi. I'm embarrassed on behalf of all Indian-Americans. Also she's part of the administration that shipped back over 100 Indian immigrants on an inhumane military flight. She's a POS.

+1 How could she not wear Indian clothes to meet the Indian Prime Minister???

She also met Macron in those clothes. I’m Indian and I think it was the right call to wear Western clothes. Can you imagine the MAGA reaction if she wore Indian clothes while representing the U.S.? It avoided unnecessary division.

If she were a fashionista she could have worn something Indo-Western… or at least something with a paisley print… but she’s not so whatever

Even Ivanka gave a nod to India with her sartorial choices. Probably easier to do this when you are white and a Trump kid rather than the VP's wife.

Adding...I can't believe I am saying this....but Ivanka understood the assignment.

I think Usha is bordering on slovenly territory with her unkempt hair, gaunt face, and oversized clothes, but in her defense. Ivanka was actually in India/Pakistan when those pics were taken. Usha was in France when she met Modi in passing; she was not there specifically to meet him. I wouldn't have worn Indian clothes either.

This looks like it must be a picture taken in India, not a picture taken in France. So as you say, different assignments.

There is absolutely no way Usha could have worn what Ivanka did in the bottom picture without many of you ripping into her.

I don't like Ivanka but she most of the time looks very put together. You can tell she has fun with fashion, hair and make-up.

Yes, I think Usha could never do what Ivanka did whether in India or not. Ivanka gets a pass as Trump's kid and as a white woman.

To be fair, 3/4 of the posts in the Trump fashion threads are pointing out how ridiculous Vanky is. I can't remember what we said about her India clothes.

I guess Usha is so bad at clothes she makes Vanky look like a fashion mentor. Usha's are bad in a totally different direction. Vanky is all Ice Capades Russian Grandma Toddler Stripper, while Usha is just waah waah sad, limp, ill fitting. If makes you long for the spectacle of Ivanka.

Favorite Daughter is owned by the Foster sisters, Erin and Sara Foster, who are MAGA. Usha thinks she's winking at them or some shit, idfk.

I didn't know that about Erin. I followed her on Instagram for a couple years during the pandemic, and then had to stop because her outrageous privilege and lack of awareness of it annoyed me. She converted to Judaism and is reform. In general, I don't meet many jewish people who are republican, let alone Maga. We tend to skew Democratic.

Cough cough Ivanka.

Is her lumpiness in the first photo related to Botox? I've never such a lumpy face.

I will admit she looks great in the image below but that is not how the Secretary of Homeland Security should be dressing.

She's starting to look like a Real Doll. (y'all know what that is?). I think that's what it's called. Maybe a "real girl". It's basically a life like toy for very weird men.

That is scarily accurate.

+1. I think pp nailed it!

Same, I have never understood the criticism of her fashion. Someone like Kimberly Gargoyle, er, Guilfoyle, I get. She looks like a bloated blow up doll and dresses so cheap. But imo Ivanka looks pretty and mostly tasteful. And no, I have never voted for Trump.

I wasn’t on this thread then, but the pics that were just posted + the outfits she and her family wore at the Ambani wedding were great.

She was actually IN India. When in Rome, etc.

Again: this was in India. Not in France. Not in the U.S. Makes perfect sense to dress in the culture of the country *you are visiting.* Usha Vance didn't need to throw on a sari just because she was meeting Modi... in FRANCE.
