That’s not an illegal straw purchase ![]() |
So convict him on the curfew charge. And go through all the footage of that night and convict all rioters on same. I’m good with that |
When you are using it as weapon, it sure is. |
Years ago, when I was an intern at the USAO in DC, I remember there being a charge of "AWIK (shod foot)" --- Assault with Intent to Kill by a foot with a shoe. So, while a skateboard, or skillet is not "armour" -- a skateboard or skillet could be a lethal weapon. |
When someone crashes their car while speeding, they get a speeding ticket. That's not unfair, even if all the other speeding cars did not get tickets. Right? Or do you disagree with that, too? |
I know this is not the substance of the matter -- but I am NOT a fan of the prosecutor's little "swirl" in his hair. That is not very professional or even "current" for hair styles. |
A skateboard can be a lethal weapon but Skateboard Guy wasn't armed. |
There as plenty of destruction, looting, burning during the riots. |
Um, isn’t there a photo of him ready to use it to bash Rittenhouse? |
Then Rittenhouse should have stuck to looting and burning during the riots instead of shooting people. Good point. |
So can we pressure the federal prosecutor to bring charges against this smug a$$h01e for violating his victims’ civil rights? Even if the cases are weak at least it would tie him up in court for much longer, preventing him from moving on with his life with zero consequences. Let’s just bankrupt his a$$ and keep this hanging over his head for life. |
Same republicans judge will make sure he goes free. |
The judge's reading of instructions will almost guarantee federal action on this case. |
asking if someone knows -- if this jury hangs, and a mistrial is declared, then jeopardy hasn't attached and he can be re-tried, right? Could he just be re-tried federally to get out of this court? |
Hopefully karma and street justice will see that that never happens |
