Here's the tea: ECNL bigwigs (Cullina and Christian) are freaking out, calling VA clubs and begging them not to jump ship. They know something big is coming, and they're scared they're gonna lose everyone. It's like, the sharks are circling, and ECNL's starting to smell blood in the water.

Basically, either clubs get on board now, or they're gonna get left in the dust. This is gonna be wild.
Washington spirit Homegrown will be NVA ))))

I mean if it is NVA boys hiring the Strikers guy as their boys director is that the boom? (fizzle)

Nothing is happening with Richmond. They would be the last to leave ECNL.

Haha, how so?
Lavers is Wisconsin FC and Solar.
Richmond boys want MLSnext.

No offense but what exactly has ECNL done this year?

They promoted a club on the boys side and then they left to mls next…

Then they promoted some unheard of teams to NL…

Dallas Surf, NVA, McLean, Loudon, Midwest United are all pretty good pick ups.

None of those are "pretty good pick ups".

Look at 2012 and younger and your comment is no longer relevant.

This move is for the future not for the now. NVA even told parents, if you are already in ECNL and getting recruited, go to an ECNL team.

It’s the 2012 and younger that will create the shift.

Wow. You can see five years into the future and know what it will be like? Any winning lottery numbers for this weekend you'd like to share too?

In some ways yes, think of it as a game of chess. If you analyze trends and look at the leverage created by the GA/MLS Next partnership you can say with a certain probability that it will occur. Nothing is 100% but if you were going to invest in one league for a return in 5 years, the majority of smart investors would go with GA.

I said this earlier, but VA isn't the canary in the coal mine. This is a shakeup based on an area with too many clubs/unions/associations that went south.

We shall see.

Please respond with something more substantial than BOOM or We Shall See or It's Coming. I'd be happy to say you're right because I'm not even from the region and am genuinely interested in the landscape change. This is a whole lot of nothing before tryouts natonally as of now.

Sometimes the silent booms are the biggest booms!!!! You shall not See It's Coming!!! Thats what makes the BOOM so special

Beadling and Keystone were the two MA teams that represented the conference in Champions Cup. There are wild cards at each age group as well, and some additional MA teams got in that way.

Anyone else find it hysterical that their banner this year for Champions Cup is Nationals? The ECNL club...

Yes they were the overall best club at champions cup last year..

High school soccer is going on in parts of the country and some teams haven’t played since December last year…

But seriously, NoVA teams leaving ECNL for GA are far more important the Nationals (or even Ukies)
