Salmon noodle casserole. With homemade cream of mushroom soup, and potato chip topping.
They panned it. Stupid kids. |
| Smart kids. |
|
Was this canned salmon? Disgusting!
But funny post
|
| Ewww |
| I think I have to side with the kids on this one. |
|
It was salmon from a pouch, and it was delicious! My husband had three servings.
Way better than tuna noodle. Didn't you guys eat this growing up?? Total comfort food. |
| I'm dry heaving. Ew. |
Yes, we had tuna noodle all the time. I like it with peas in it too. I think the salmon version sounds yummy, maybe not for summertime... it's more of a winter meal. I'm not really surprised your kids didn't like it though. It's kind of an acquired taste. Try it again later in the year, and use tuna. |
| That sounds so gross.....sooooooooo gross. |
Stupid grownups!
I used this recipe: http://mrs-furious.blogspot.com/2008/01/dinner-is-served_20.html |

You think that's bad, my kids won't eat homemade chicken pot pie (and I make the crust from scratch too) or homemade macaroni and cheese.
I love tuna casserole, but am not a big fan of salmon in general. |
| I think I'd have to side with your kids too, but then I grew up with tuna casserole so that's what I prefer. Tuna casserole is a huge hit at our house! |
| That is repulsive and I just looked at that blog and other things on there sound disgusting too. Using lots of condensed soup from a can is never recommended, lots of gross stuff and sodium. I also would hope you would never take fashion advice from that woman, she looks hideous. |
| Oh nasty. I'm siding with the kids. And I love tuna noodle casserole. |
| My kids wont eat potatoes. My DS wont eat pie of any sort. Autistic DS wont eat ice cream. |
