| Well. What do we make of all this? |
They are destroying their coffee makers. Think about that. |
Given that she did not support Moore in the primary this is what she says: Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) said Monday she will still vote for Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore despite allegations he had a sexual encounter with a minor, saying “we don’t have the facts.” “The election will be on December the 12th, and I will hold my judgment until we get more of the facts. People of Alabama need to know the facts,” Ivey said, according to AL.com. “Based on what I know now, yes, I will vote for him,” she continued. “But we don’t have the facts. There may be some more facts to come out. But he is the party’s nominee.” As an aside, if she turns on Moore he will run for governor against her and will likely defeat her. |
| Since when has the GOP, especially in Alabama, cared about the facts? |
| Luther Strange resigns for the good of the party. Gov. appoints Sessions. New AG nominated. Strange gets a nice ambassadorship. Easy-peasy. |
| Oh great. The idea is being floated by the White House to remove Sessions as AG and appoint him to the vacant Alabama seat (after somehow getting rid of Moore). That would certainly make Trump happy. |
two problems a. Sessions STILL has to run as write in. Hard enough even if Moore drops out. Harder if Moore stays in. b. New AG needs to be confirmed by Senate. At which position on Mueller will certainly be discussed. |

Pretty good article about the fundamentalist nature of Christianity exposed by Moore election:

| Sorry, I need proof. |
| It might be questionable that Sessions would be allowed to be seated by the Senate. |
Besides to woman who just told her story, and had the yearbook he signed. And was very clearly telling the trust if you listen to her. Who told several people at the time. And besides the other 4 women, and the 30 people who corroborated their claims? So proof would be.... ? An NSA wiretap? This is enough corroboration to convict Moore beyond a reasonable doubt, in any court. He was 30. He drove a 15-16 year old to a private place and tried to rape her. please tell me you don't have an excuse for that too. |
What would constitute "proof", in your opinion, and how would one go about obtaining it? |
The current crop of Republicans haven't exactly distinguished themselves as profiles in courage. |
Yup. It solves the Alabama problem AND it enables him to shut down the FBI investigation. Win-win! |
