Alabama Republicans will back him even if they don't like him because they feel that liberals and establishment Republicans are trying to bring him down.

Given that she did not support Moore in the primary this is what she says:

As an aside, if she turns on Moore he will run for governor against her and will likely defeat her.[/quote]
