Like it just dawned on them that this was wrong, yet they willingly went back day after day for years and made much more than most kids and adults working at Walmart or McDonalds. I am sure they see $$$$ now by claiming this ruined the trajectory of their lives. It’s very transparent what they are doing. They also were told to lie about their ages and say they were 18.

My older brother's friend, a married guy who has three daughters, drunkenly groped my chest saying goodbye after an engagement party, about 15 years ago. Only person I ever told was my husband because I felt too awkward about it and didn't want to deal with telling anyone, notably my brother, or deal with it. But if 10 other women suddenly came out about his sexual advances now, I would talk. I totally get why women do not speak up in the moment. Dealing with speaking up can be far more difficult and stressful than the event itself.

Why? Why did I grow up surrounded by teens and adults alike who worked at menial jobs making minimum wage for life?
