Does anyone else find this very odd that this person went through every single school to find grads of their k-8? Most info I know came directly from students or parents themselves. Some from these pages. |
St Johns has one. |
One admit to MIT from SR. |
For field hockey still great though |
The NCS one is rowing. |
She is a stellar student as well. MIT and Ivies have a gpa cut off for recruited athletes as I am sure you know. So kudos to both girls from NCS and SR. |
Absolutely! And how wonderful to be both brilliant and athletically talented! |
Yea it is strange. |
Stranger things happen every day. Parents are looking for any info to inform their paths and choices for their kids. Desperate times call for… |
Strange poster here. I looked through the entries and recognized some names familiar names along the way. DC will apply out in a couple of years so it's good to see how the other K-8 kids fared, especially as many are concerned that K-8 might be a riskier option than K-12. |
There are a helluva lotta sports commits on that Gonzaga page. Not sure why that irritates me but it does. |
It's a class of 240 with only 50 posts. Do you realize how sports commits happen? They commit early. This is why the posts you see now are mostly athletes. I can tell you that I know so many GZ boys with very excellent acceptances that are not athletic commits. They did very, very well this year and many are still deciding--200 haven't posted yet. |
Bothers me too. Rich privilege to spend so much money on travel sports so that they can get recruited and enter great colleges through a side door. |
