I know you meant that sarcastically but Actually Israelis have said that . All of Hamas captives can’t stop complimenting them. One mom wrote a letter thanking them last month for not hurting her daughter. Israel has banned any of them from interviews on TV . I am guessing once some of the Thai migrants goes back home we will hear from some of them unless they signed a gag order or something from Israel

Yes, we heard about the lovely honey bunnies called Hamas. The 60 minute interview that just came out with one of the hostages was so amazing! And, the 12 year old who was made to watch October 7th atrocities, raved about his new educational opportunities. The kids who lost massive amounts of weight, thanked Hamas for their slimmed waist lines and the victims of sexual abuse (men and women) are just in awe of Hamas’s humanity.

When the UN reports Gazans are starving under the Israeli refusal to allow aid in, I am not sure this has the impact you believe it does.

It doesn’t have impact for you. But for the rational segment of the world, it certainly does.

Which segment is that? Most of the world has condemned both Hamas AND Israel’s conduct. Why is it “rational” to believe only one side is capable of carrying out horrors, even in the face of enormous evidence to the contrary?

"Rational segment" sees through the pro-Hamas lies and exaggerations.
The Palestinians I see in the media/photos look well-fed. Remember the "boys in underwear"?

So your definition of rationality is to look at reports from the UN and aid agencies of starvation in Gaza and say “pro-Hamas lies” and reports from Israel of hostages being underfed and say “undisputed truth”? I just want to be clear about where your Overton window is.

While vandalism is certainly wrong, I hope this act is not used to tarnish all Palestinians as "disgusting people" or even "pro-Hamas." The vandals appear to have written "Free Gaza" in red paint and sloshed some red paint around to resemble blood.

As an example of a young Arab Muslim who is NOT a "disgusting person," a Stanford student, Abdulwahab Omira, was mowed down by someone in an SUV last month. The driver yelled out the window, "Eff you and your people!" Abdulwahab's response, from his hospital bed, was to "reflect on the importance of spreading love, kindness and compassion in a world that seems to be steadily succumbing to hatred and prejudice," and he called on others to "collectively denounce hatred, bigotry, and violence."

So please let's not stereotype Arab people as "disgusting" or young people as "stupid and uneducated."

This act is disgusting, yes. It’s interesting how you don’t want this act to tarnish all Palestinians and yet the pro-Palestinian contingent are attacking Israeli-American and Jewish businesses, Jewish students, and synagogues. Don’t mind the generalizations of Jews.

They aren't "attacking" them. Stop lying.

NP. This Chelsea establishment disagrees https://twitter.com/stopantisemites/status/1737470931188978129/mediaviewer

This Washington DC synagogue disagrees

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/12/17/us/washington-dc-man-arrest-anti-semitic-phrase/index.html

Not to mention the situation on college campuses where Jewish students are being verbally and in a couple of cases physically harassed by pro-Palestinian groups. In some circumstances, there were students whose only offense was being Jewish; they were attempting to walk to class or across campus not rallying.

There's probably more to it than that. You're over simplifying. Anyways, it goes both ways. If you're only concermed about Jewish harrassment but not the harrassment Palestinians get at the same time, then I have no sympathy for you.

I must have missed the videos of Palestinian students hiding in the library while Jewish students beat on the door calling for intifada.

Did you miss the murder of a Palestinian child in the United States? The attack on college students? The shooting? The car?

Not perpetrated by Jews.

Omg it’s never their fault.
Beyond insanity.

Put 27 women and children in a room and then toss a grenade in (documented this week that the IDF did this) - bwwahhh blame Hamas.

I am so sick of all of it. Israel is despicable

Why are you talking about something the IDF did when the PP is talking about Jews?
I thought you guys were all about "anti-zionism, not anti-semitism".

So clearly the “Israel without question or criticism” policy is not resonating and it’s time for a change. The question is whether people in power will make the pivot soon enough to matter.

No, because one, it takes a long time to turn a ship (Israel wouldn't self destruct overnight, or at all actually, if the U.S. stopped its relations with it, you oversimplify the relationship) and two, the leaders do not want to (rightly so).
So come up with another hope and dream. Maybe non violent political struggle which includes recognizing that the national is Israel is not going to be wiped off the map.

Israel is a failed state that can not exist without huge support from the US. Only way for Israel to continue as a state is to renounce judaism as a state religion, adopt a constitution and become a secular state.

Fine. And every Muslim state should renounce Islam.

Just going by what I see in the pictures. Maybe they were grossly fat before and starved down to merely overweight?

MP. So the UN World Food Program is lying when it says that 1 in 4 Gazans are facing extreme hunger? Journalists and aid organizations are all lying when they paint a dire picture of what is happening in Gaza? Only Israeli authorities are telling the truth?

Actually I haven't seen any denials of mass starvation out of the Israeli government, which has particularly detailed information about how much food Gaza requires. Only this particularly “rational” poster. Interesting.

If the IDF hurt one of my children, I regret to say that I'd probably do more than support Hamas. After the IDF has killed and mutilated, displaced, and starved so many Palestinians, I'm surprised that number is as low as 72%.

Really? You’d embrace and support someone who hurt or killed your child?

I fervently hope you’re not a parent.

Pretty sure it makes them human. These are human feelings and human nature.

Just because you are on the side of collective punishment and war crimes because you share a religion with israeli terrorists doesnt make everyone else a POS.

Or if they expelled you and put you in a tent across the border, and now you get to watch them build stuff on the land of your family farm, to which you still have the keys but can never visit. Also, they tell you it’s wrong to tell your children what happened and that you’re a hater.
