Ukrainians don’t even complain about masks, they have actual problems.

Not gonna lie, Ukraine is awesome fighting as a unified country and peoples. Very inspirational.

I don’t think I would take up arms to support the us. I don’t have much in common with most.

I think people are looking to Zelensky and his leadership but he is fighting for his homeland and his peoples.

The us is just one big economic zone.

You would suddenly find common ground if Russia were attacking.

Nah, I’d fly out to another country well in advance.

Summary from UK Ministry of Defence

There are street battles in Kyiv right now. The Russians' main objective appears to be killing Zelensky, who's on the phone constantly with world leaders, so they must know where he is.

They are floundering.

Russia of old would’ve just hit him without starting a war over it.

This is trying to save a botched op.

Morale must be shattered.

Nato needs to launch a counter offensive

So, yes, Russia can no longer just knock people off and expect the population to follow their "installed" leader. The US used to do this as well (same results). NATO does not need to get involved. Putin is delusional.

+1
You want to see people fight the Russians. Tell them, the Russians don't believe in the 2nd Amendment. Maybe that will put some fire in them.

How would you solve the Russian question?

If the Russians are stopped, things cannot go back to status quo.

Desert storm showed us to strike when the iron is hot.

You have a country in mind? Some do, but most can't stay indefinitely in another country.

Assuming Ukraine weathers the storm and Russia retreats back to within her own borders, I think we should maintain the moral high ground. No counter-strike should be made onto Russian soil.

Our quarrel is not with the Russian soldiers or the Russian people.

If Russia retreats, we should resist the impulse for revenge.

Wishful thinking. Russia won’t retreat.

They did in Afghanistan. They recalled their puppet from Ukraine in 2014. So, yes, they do retreat.
