| In my case, the other woman would have been in kindergarten when my husband and I met in college. She knew he had a wife and kids. I said she probably had daddy issues. Husband was really offended by that because they had such a beautiful connection, it had nothing to do with anything like that. Later, I found out she was dealing with her father’s instability due to his mental illness. Men don’t only lie to their APs; sometimes they lie to themselves as well. |
The last sentence is very true. The biggest lie is that they aren’t hurting anyone by what they are doing. |
It’s a compound thing too. If someone has had previous traumas in their life, it doesn’t take a huge one to eventually crack and become ptsd. |
