In 1999, dolt. Obama was against gay marriage until 2012, and probably against gay adoption back in 1999 too.

"Follow the Supreme Court's decision in Obergefell v. Hodges on June 26, 2015, Graham released the following statement: "I am a proud defender of traditional marriage and believe the people of each state should have the right to determine their marriage laws. However, the Supreme Court has ruled that state bans on gay marriage are unconstitutional, and I will respect the Court's decision. "

It is theoretically possible for a gay man to believe that marriage is really for reproduction, and that reproduction should occur the normal way. I don't believe that, but it is not illogical.

Lindsey Graham doesn't believe it, either. Because it's not logical, and neither are you. What's logical is that Lindsey Graham is a self loathing hipocrite. Which also makes it logical that he's GOP.

It's still gross for him to have stances that are/were harmful to the gay community because it wins him votes if he uses the gay community for his own needs. Will it matter to the people of SC? Who knows. -NP

One cannot support the regime that creates situations like this:

And still pretend to be “evolved” on gay rights issues. Actively supporting the side, voting with them, is the same thing as holding those positions yourself.

Wrong. You didn't read the whole thread and you're calling others lazy?

I read the entire thread. Not sure what you're talking about. It's a thread full of lazy, gossipy liberals trying to fan the flames of nasty rumors and innuendo in order to shame a gay man. No facts whatsoever. LAZY.

+1. Not a single, specific example of LG voting to harm gay people. Lots of innuendo that he could be blackmailed since he is gay. Which interestingly! Used to be a justification for not allowing gay people to have security clearances until it was shot down as discriminatory. My take away: the left is now promoting discrimination against gays.

Lol. HE VISITED PROSTITUTES! I'm 100% sure this is automatic disqualification for security clearances. It is illegal and immoral. His constituents deserve to know that their lawmaker breaks the laws.

Again: DO YOU HAVE PROOF OF THIS? Or is some guy on Twitter now considered credible by you nitwits?
-DP

This is why no news sites are touching this story. But thank you for implicitly acknowledging that if Graham did visit prostitutes of any gender then the public needs to know.

No news sites are touching this because it's a bunch of made up, Twitter trash, being spread by other trash people. The end.

Well I guess the liberal media does have standards after all, right PP

The real issue here is whether Trump was giving Graham a veiled threat to support Kavanaugh.

Very interesting considering how unhinged Graham got at the Ford/Kav hearing. A stressed man...

Those southern have never heard the rumors. The media is tightly controlled in the southern states. The people of SC are too dumb to question if Lindsay is gay. He is just a Bachelor who likes hanging out with all the conservatives guys. Look how right he is on all the issues and he agree with trump on everything.

Anonymous wrote:What homophobic policies has LG supported? Everyone in the GOP knows he's gay. Everyone. But his sexual preferences aren't your business. Does he has to announce his orientation to you in order to be "really" gay? Is this like how Biden gets to decide who's black? If he slept with escorts and broke the law, fine, get him on that if you must. But he doesn't *owe* you an explanation of his sexual preferences. You don't expect straight politicians to do that and the only reason you'd expect this from a gay one is that you want to enforce a heteronormative, homophobic approach to sexual identity.

BS. The conservative pseudo Christian right supports LG and claims to be morally superior and pro-family. LG's being gay flatly contradicts those supposed values. Even if his pseudo Christian supporters evolved to support LBGT equality, I am confident that they would not support paying for gay sex, a stable gay relationship being fundamentally different. But then again the pseudo Christian right tolerates the Small Man in the WH. This P has no sympathy for LG.

DP. I like "pseudo Christian Right" and I'll have to start using that. Along with "Con."

Is Obama gay? Because that’s why people hold things like that 1999 vote against Lindsay Graham.

It wouldn't surprise me. LG was weirdly worked up during that whole episode. Go back and look at clips of him speaking during the hearing and to reporters. He was seriously freaking out.

Seriously. Those rumors don't penetrate the bubble of regular Republican voters. If it's not on FOX or Limbaugh or similar, they have no idea.
