They don't have to be raised properly if they have any sort of issues. Everyone else just has to deal with it. Stepping in when your kid is causing a problem isn't a helicopter parent. Are some of the working parents not checking on their kids at all? Maybe teachers just shouldn't add the disruptive ones to the session. Email the parents and let them know why. Parents can handle it or not. |
| Stop beating up on each other over a non-issue: Teacher can mute the kid acting up, problem solved. |
Except that it doesn't work that easily. Problem is NOT solved because the kids constantly unmute themselves. |
Wait, so the parent you are talking about doesn’t have time to help her kid with school, but she has plenty of time to surf the internet and post comments here? That is who you are defending? LOL |
Right. So don't include them in the next session. They can do worksheets or something. |
+1000. Anytime I ask a question on this board, basically about anything - not just kid related, I am immediately met with snark, negative assumptions about the kind of person I am, and just downright meanness and hostility at times. In fact, I would not be surprised to get one of those responses right after I submit this post. Why would I expect anything less? I think this website should get rid of "Anonymous" and require usernames. Might weed out some, but unfortunately not all, of the bad actors on here. |
A lot of really nasty moms on here. No wonder girls are so mean to other girls in school. |
Huh? Some girls are mean, most girls aren't. Just like boys. |
Exactly! |
I was thinking there are a lot of moms that are completely uninvolved or not caring about their child’s education or manners. No wonder there are so many misbehaved kids in school. |
Dads, of course, have nothing to do with children, child care, children's education, or children's manners. Wait, what? |
