Oh my gosh!!! It's Jan. 31st and no notice yet. Today's mail came and nothing in the portal. What the heck??? Inquiring minds want to know!

Maybe they will post after the offices and schools are closed so no one can complain till Monday.

"Letters will be put in the mail on Feb 1. You will be able to log in to the parent portal to review results the same day. That said, it will be released centrally on a Saturday so if there is a glitch it will not be resolved until Monday Feb 3 to view results."

This doesn't make much sense. Why would they mail on a Saturday?

On MPCS Portal

Grade 8 application program deadline was Friday, 11/1/19. The link is closed. Results for all programs will be posted in late January 2020.

I guess MCPS is using Chinese Lunar Month 1 which ends Feb 22 -

No, I am not upset either, but I am rather amused. I still believe they will release the results today --otherwise, they could have made the change on the portal !

I’m upset because we don’t know where DC is going to school next year. Stressful. Need the info to make that decision.

From an internal mail circulated in middle school, it was indirectly mentioned that Magnet letters will be mailed on Jan 31st
