Who are the top 05 Girl's teams

I'm not personally involved with either Pipeline or Celtic, but can tell you that some of the best players from both teams are playing high school soccer right now and killing it as freshman.

I read write-ups on those playing at McDonough, Mercy and Spaulding. All three are nationally-ranked playing in the most competitive schedules in the country. HS soccer generally sucks but when the team is full of DI prospects, it is a different level.

I don't get the snark. I have an 05 daughter who does not play for any of the top clubs, but who plays high school soccer in Maryland. I read the news items and tweets about high school soccer to keep up with some of my kids' friends and former teammates, so I know how well several of the top Pipeline and Celtic players are doing. I've seen them play; they are really, really good. Their high school teams are ranked in the top 20 in the country and they are major contributors to these top teams as freshman. I think it is impressive.

Sorry, but doing well in high school soccer is not impressive, at least on the boys side. The level of play is too low even at the top programs. I suspect it is not much different on the girls side.

McDonough, Mercy and Spaulding are serious programs full of ECNL, DA and Pipeline/Celtic players all going to DI programs. Unless you play for McLEans u18/19 team, you will not see any ECNL/DA team with the level of talent of those three schools. I have watched Good Counsel play several times and they are stacked with ECNL players but even they were destroyed by McDonough.

Actually nobody cares about the prissy mentality in the DMV which has created an atmosphere where you think the region is better than it is. That is one of the reasons Americans sent Trump here so that he could blow up the culture.

Every coach around here knows that you don't see real aggressive, physical and serious play until you get to B-more and beyond (the real "America").
Nobody cares about Baltimore/Annapolis? I wonder why the WaPo includes schools from the area in its rankings. Guess where the WaPo went to find the top soccer programs for its rankings? Most of the local teams in the ranking are led by 05 players from Pipeline and Celtic.

I am not saying that the Pipeline and Celtic players are the best but we need to dismiss these jackasses who are dismissing Baltimore-area teams especially when even DC-area club coaches consider those clubs some of their best competition at the 05 age category. The reality is that the top 5 of any elite coach between Richmond and Baltimore would include FCV, McLean, Bethesda/Rush, Pipeline and Baltimore Celtic. We will let the Arlingotn/MU parents quivel over where those clubs fall but if you ask the actual coaches who have played Pipleine and Celtic, they will tell you.

I think so. DA players apparently can play for high school teams at private schools. The Baltimore privates have this on boys and girls sides.
