I don’t believe that what he is alleged, not proven, to have done as a minor over 35 years ago should be dredged up now as a basis to oppose his confirmation.

But, again, if you want black and Hispanic boys routinely treated as adults for all the crimes they commit as juveniles, let’s have a go at it. Personally, I always thought there was good reason to treat juveniles differently than adults, but if you want to nail Kavanaugh because of some alleged indiscretion when he was in high school I guess I can accept the electric chair for the next 16-year-old black kid who actually murders someone.

Your analogy doesn't work. He's not being prosecuted. His character is being assessed to see whether he is worthy of becoming one of the nine most important people in the entire United States. It's an exceptionally high bar. Gorsuch didn't seem to run into any trouble during his confirmation; find another one like him. Being a sexual assault denier is a bad look but you seem not to be too troubled by it. I think that says a lot about you.
