Of course. You find out as soon as you open the letter. That said, I have been on both sides, as I received the ineligibility letter last year and just got the eligibility letter for the referral on my now third grader. I could tell before I even opened it that she had been found eligible because it was clear there was a form to fill out - I could see the lines through the envelope. Last year, there was just a one page letter. |
Well, I guess it’s true in that no DRA really shows out of the box thinking since it doesn’t measure that. I can only guess she thinks that based on her experience? Our school/teacher did a really nice job on the GBRS and tying it to some great work samples; those do happen to show good problem solving and creativity. |
