I don't know your friends of course, and I would completely respect them as human beings. But to say that they don't "choose" to behave in this manner is absurd.
I think you are right. Let's follow Mike Pence's lead and provide electro-shock therapy to see if we can get their minds right.
No one is saying they can't be transgendered. We are saying the taxpayers should not pay for the surgeries.
That isn't what the President is proposing. He is willfully removing thousands of active patriots (something he never did) from service. It has nothing to do with surgeries and everything to do with hate and fear-mongering.
Thousands?? So now there are thousands of transgendered persons in the military. Lol

The same "Williams Institute" did a study and found that 0.3% of the 340 million Americans are Transgender. That is 102,000 and according to the PP they all are in the military. LOL!
Where did you pull that from. The numbers I have seen are 10,000-15,000. My husband has one in his reserve unit. He says it is no big deal.
My active duty son says it's a huge deal.
Asthma = can't serve
Trans = can serve.
You're intolerance is showing.
A person with asthma has a physical condition that may limit his/her ability to function in a combat setting.
A person who is transgender and has no physical illnesses or limitations can serve perfectly well in combat.
Were I on the battlefield, I'd rather have an able-bodied transgendered person fighting alongside me than an asthmatic man or woman.
