| I caved and called them - the guy at Missouri Ave said they have not made any called to admitted students yet. |
And next week is Spring Break, and it doesn't sound like they are going to be doing any calls until afterwards. |
| We have not received a call, but did get email confirmation for our PK3 twins and PK4 DC .... we are beyond thrilled! |
|
I called regarding my situation of being totally omitted from the lottery despite having a confirmed entry- the admissions office is understandly buried.
I am frustrated that my unique situation wont be addressed today...or next week...So keep calling folks! Those with real issues with the lottery will just sit here.... |
Congrats to PH, PH, and EH. |
| For people wondering what number is a change - if the DCPCSB approves an expansion everything changes. There will be at least 1 more class if the space permits. |
Now THAT is sibling preference. Welcome! |
Are you trying to sneak someone slightly too young into pk3 or slightly too old into pk4? |
| We are within 2 of our number from last year - which rounded us out in about the top 5 before movement stopped. If they open a class sounds like it will be the same this year. Ugh! I'd rather have a number in the 400s. Being close but not "in" is super frustrating! |
Thank you! |
Hi - could you please explain how/if this would impact PK4? I've read through all 13 pages of this tread and it seems as if it would only impact PK3 despite both PK3&4 being combined classrooms. Insight greatly appreciate. Thanks! |
It is ... although I will say it's usually pretty tough having 3 that close in age (and so young), but it's things like this where it really helps |
| How much time are those offered spots given to accept? |
No- there are kids at the same birth month/year. I called about being omitted. The system is dumping our application. How would I sneak someone in? What kid of question is that? |
I talked to the front desk guy, not anyone in the admissions office. I did not take time away from them addressing your situation. I get that you are frustrated, but there are also many of us that have no real idea how many students have been admitted and our child's true spot on a wait list. |
